Ants

Carpenter ants in damp wood, pavement ants in the kitchen.

Carpenter ants are the ones that matter around here: they nest in damp wood, behind a leaky window or in a porch post, and show up in spring. Pavement and odorous house ants are a nuisance more than a risk.

Tell us where you see them, whether there is sawdust-like frass, and whether it is seasonal. The licensed company that calls you back will say whether it is a one-visit job or a plan.
